Chisbury Dining Chair - Pair

F4179

Based on a set of George III walnut dining chairs, designed by Robert Manwaring circa 1770. Made in our own furniture workshop, the chair features a chinoiserie inspired trellis fretted back and also blind fret on the legs in the Gothic Revival manner. Individually carved from sustainably grown walnut, they echo the look of the simple grained timber as on the original chairs.

We hand-finish and wax each chair, softening the edges and allowing them to age naturally. Shown here in our Robert Kime Red Damask, each chair features a drop-in seat that can be upholstered in the Robert Kime fabric of your choice. Please note that these dining chairs are sold in pairs.
