Chisbury Carver Dining Chair - Pair

F4179A

Based on a set of George III walnut dining chairs, designed by Robert Manwaring circa 1770. Made in our own furniture workshop, the chair features a chinoiserie inspired trellis fretted back and also blind fret on the legs in the Gothic Revival manner. Individually carved from walnut, they echo the look of the simple grained timber as on the original chairs. We hand-finish and wax each chair, softening the edges and allowing them to age naturally.

Robert Kime furniture is crafted by hand in England in our own workshops, using traditional methods and materials. All of the wood used is PEFC & FSC certified. Like everything at Robert Kime, the styles are based on references and examples from our archive and Robert and Orlando’s personal collection and design.

Shown here, in our Robert Kime Collection Red Damask. Each chair features a drop-in seat that can be upholstered in the Robert Kime fabric of your choice. Please note that these dining chairs are sold in pairs.
