Traditional designs, like the one that inspired Tunis reference motifs on silks and velvets that appear in both Renaissance Italy and Ottoman Turkey. Patterns in vivid blue and red tones are arranged in vertical rows, with the resulting empty space becoming part of the graphic pattern
