New Showroom

Robert Kime is delighted to announce that his second shop at 42 Museum Street is now open. This intriguing space, housed in a late C17th terrace - a stone's throw from the British Museum, showcases his extensive range of fabrics, lighting, wallpaper and upholstered furniture. There is also a wide selection of Robert's iconic cushions, lampshades and alabaster.

Robert Kime – An Eastern Perspective and Property from a Cotswold Manor House

My lease on barns, of which there were five, was running out so we have now moved out of the countryside and into purpose built offices on a trading estate - the barns had to be emptied and one was full of 40 years of textile collecting - another with Middle Eastern architectural fittings and so on. We've only somewhat skimmed the surface! The 121 Kensington Church Street and 43 Museum Street shops flourish but only have limited display areas - and although I am opening a second shop in Museum Street (No.42) at the end of this year - there is still a range and scale of textiles and other items which can only be properly viewed and enjoyed by others with the help of a first rate auction house.
